Phoenix Senior Living-Senior Services

  • Services designed to meet the needs of each resident are provided 24 hours by professional and experienced staff, carefully screened, who receives ongoing education, is CPR certified and trained in First Aid and AED.

  • Highest caregiver to patient ratio of one caregiver to every 3 patients.

  • Home cooked meals always accommodate special diets and personal taste or preference.

  • Menus are prepared by a Florida Registered Dietitian to provide a balanced healthy diet and daily nutrition requirements. Three meals per day and snacks are included in the rent.

  • Daily housekeeping and personal laundry, as well as weekly linen change services are provided at no additional cost.

  • Assistance with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.

  • We provide assistance with transfers and ambulation, as well as medication supervision(medication is centrally looked and dispensed by trained personnel).

  • RN on-call 24 hour, monthly in-house physician visits. Our house physician accepts some HMO insurances and Medicare. Also there are regular podiatrist, optometrist, psychologist visits.

  • Laboratory services, EKGs, X-Rays, home health services(RN and LPNs, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers) are arranged as authorized by the resident's health insurance and physician orders.

  • Stimulating activities are tailored for each resident based on physical, emotional and psychological abilities and needs. A minimum of 12 hours per week of activities are provided as per state regulations(bingo, card games, aerobic and chair exercises, trivia games, sing-a-long, fun with hair and nails, movie night, arts and crafts and more).

  • Cable service in every room and telephone available for local and nationwide calls at no additional charge. Personal phone line or internet services require additional fees.

  • Transportation services are provided at additional cost.

  • Hairdresser/Barber services are provided in-house, once a month, at no additional cost. 

  • Toiletries, incontinence supplies and incontinence care are also provided at no extra cost.

Assisted Living Services In Other Facilities - In General

 

Assisted living facilities, in general, include the following services in monthly rent:

  • An apartment, a studio, or rooms furnished or unfurnished, either shared or private
  • Up to three meals a day, taken in a common dining area, and snacks
  • Light weekly housekeeping and weekly linen service
  • Social events and activities
  • Scheduled transportation for errands such as shopping, banking, medical appointments
  • Assisted living facilities are not required to provide medical services but most of them do such as: periodic on-site visits from physicians and podiatrists, laboratory and x-ray, home health services
  • Medication supervision

 Services that may require additional fees, depending on the assisted living facility:

  • Personal care services such as: bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.
  • Assistance with ambulation, if you are using a walker or wheelchair and can not do it safely on your own.
  • Assistance with transfers in a wheelchair
  • Incontinence care and incontinence supplies
  • Toiletries such as: toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, razors and shaving cream, etc.
  • Personal laundry
  • Transportation to medical appointments, if you are in a wheelchair
  • Beauty salon and barbershop services
  • Pet fees, if the assisted living facility is accepting pets
  • Cable, personal telephone line and internet services
